Goodie Bag Bonanza as Space NK, Liberty, Balance Me, Launch Events

Fancy having a splurge on your favourite beauty products? If you do, and you have £150 to spare, then you may want to head out to Liberty London or your local Space NK next week.

Wednesday (17th September) sees Space NK holding its latest national event day and its goodie bag looks pretty amazing:

The Beauty Anthology bag contains 28 luxury samples from brands including  Aromatherapy Associates, Diptyque and Sisley. It’s free when you spend £150 or more at the event, where there’ll be cocktails to drink and canap├ęs to eat too. Tickets are £15 and fully redeemable against purchases on the night. Check with individual stores for times. Store contact details can be found here.

If Liberty’s beauty hall is more to your taste then it too is currently running a premium brand gift promotion. Spend more than £150 in beauty and get your hands on its “Ultimate Beauty Gift”, containing 24 products from the likes of Chantecaille, Eve Lom and Laura Mercier.  More info here.

It’s a tough call (and a personal one) deciding which is the better bag. There’s some brand overlap between the two, though individual products differ. Note, to take up the Liberty offer you need to be a Liberty Loyalty member. In both cases stocks are limited.

If £150 is a stretch then how about a Balance Me/Marie Claire reader event taking place at selected Debenham stores starting later this month? Tickets are £10 each. For that you’ll get 15% off Balance Me at the event, a personalised skin analysis, the chance to meet Balance Me co-owner Sian Jones, plus that all important goodie bag (worth £75). Bargain I say! Events begin 30th September at Debenhams Oxford Street. More info here.

So, do any of these take your fancy? Currently I’ve booked Space NK. I’ve attended most of their national events and every time I’ve been thrilled with the contents and ‘value’ of the bag. You get to sample products that perhaps you wouldn’t otherwise have considered trying. I discovered Eve Lom’s classic cleanser this way. Previously, I’d thought the cleanser a little pricey but after sampling it I became smitten. Now, I’m never without a jar in my bathroom cupboard!

  1. They sound like fantastic events but I think my wallet will thank me if I just forget that I read this post. And don't cry about it when I hear about what a fabulous time other people have had.

  3. I collected the Liberty gift today. I knew this one and Space NK were coming up in September so had a list things to buy. Liberty is not as good as last year in my opinion but the Space NK one is very good. I plan to collect that one next week too ;-)

    1. Ooh lucky you! I did just the Space NK one. I agree it's a fab bag. I think the best they've done thus far. Tx

    2. Now that I have both I definitely agree - the Space NK one is better. You made a great choice.
FYI I did some calculations and the Space NK gift was worth £339 (excluding bag) and the Liberty was worth £239 (excluding the bag and the vouchers which require additional spending too use)

    1. They are big commitments, granted, but I tend to save buying new beauty until these offers come around. I can sort of justify it a bit more then, ;) Tx

    1. I've now got so many samples that I think they alone would keep me going in skincare for the next year (or two!). Thanks Tina. Tx
