NARS Eye Opening Act Collection – 1 January
You may have read some months back that NARS had chosen Tilda Swinton to front its Spring 2015 campaign. Well, the first visuals starring the striking actress will appear in January, introducing this new Eye Opening Act Collection.
The limited colour collection includes warm, cool and intense eyeshadow palettes and sticks for multiple mood looks. Matte Velvet Shadow Stick has matte pigments to define, intensify and shade. It will be available in 5 colours. Illuminating Multiple, meanwhile, is a light reflecting formula for lips and cheeks as well as eyes. Then there’s the Inoubliable Coup D'Oeil Eyeshadow Palette, pictured. Priced £19-£30. More on NARS here.
Burberry SS15 Make-up Collection – January
Hitting the shops in January is a playful new make-up line from Burberry. Inspired by its Spring/Summer 2015 catwalk collection of high -gloss leather, sheer tulle and powder-soft suede pieces, it introduces colours previewed on the runway. Look out for Burberry Eye Colour Wet & Dry Silk Shadows, Limited Edition Burberry Runway Blush Palette and Burberry Nail Polish. Prices range from £15-£45. More on Burberry here.
Aromatherapy Associates Limited Edition Renewing Rose Body Velvet – 1 January
Another limited edition, this time a gorgeous sounding rose scented body formula from the artisans of essential oil blending. It’s described as a thick skin conditioning treatment combining essential oils and plant extracts for firmer skin. The product is launching 1 January to mark the brand’s 30th Anniversary. I am more than a little tempted by this – I’m already head over heels in love with the Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Massage & Body Oil (reviewed here). Priced £50 for 200ml.
Benefit Puff Off! – February
Ooh, now, I have been anticipating this launch – I’ve read a few early previews online. Benefit’s new Puff Off! is an under eye gel designed to reduce puffiness and smooth fine lines. What’s unusual about it is the tip, which looks like an iron - for ‘ironing’ out those wrinkles, obviously! Joking apart, the tip is designed to ease application and provide a cooling effect on the eye. The formula contains a peptide complex and light-diffusing particles. No word yet on ingredients, which I’m keen to check out before parting with any money. Price at £22.50. More on Benefit here.
