Spring is in the air – well almost. The days are certainly getting longer, the sun is out and about (albeit betwixt rainy days) and the daffodil bulbs are pushing through.
The dawning of a new season is a time of change, and not just for our gardens. Beauty looks are changing too, calling us to freshen-up our make-up bags and skincare stashes. Whether you’re wanting to follow trends or not, here’s my pick of latest new product launches.
Just launched in the US is this dazzling new collection from MAC, a debut collaboration with high-society Chinese style icon Bao Bao Wan, who also happens to be a pop philosopher, muse, artist and jewellery designer. The line of nine new products reflects Bao Bao Wan’s love of rich jewel tones, metallic golds and brazen aesthetic. It includes a wet/dry shadow palette, four vibrant lipsticks, a micro-fine powder and 3 rich opaque nail polishes available in two high-gloss finishes.
The MAC Bao Bao Wan collection is expected to arrive here in March. I can only find US pricing currently – range starts at $13.50 for the polish. See preview here.
REN Morrocan Rose Gold Glow Perfect Dry Oil - April
A skincare launch that’s right up my street. REN Moroccan Rose Gold Glow Perfect Dry Oil is described as a silky, lightweight dry oil to leave skin deeply hydrated with a subtle glow. Formulated with 100% naturally derived actives from Moroccan argan oil and rose damascena oil, it locks in moisture, restores glowing softness and elasticity. Mmm! Priced £26. More on REN.
L'Oréal Paris Brow Artist Genius Kit – Out Now
Officially announced this week, though I picked it up in Boots a few weeks ago – on a 2 for £12 deal (it’s now on a 3 for 2) – is this brow kit. Available in two shades, the L'Oréal Paris Brow Artist Genius Kit contains a pigmented wax and a natural shading powder, tweezers, spooley brush and angled brush. It’s a great little kit that grooms brows beautifully and is good value at £9.99. Link: L’Oreal Paris Brow Artist Genius Kit.
